Conte rues Napoli´s clinical edge but satisfied with Juventus point

Antonio Conte left Juventus moderately satisfied with Napoli s goalless draw on Saturday but stressed the need to make the most of attacking opportunities.

Napoli arrived in Turin on the back of a three-match winning streak in Serie A but fell short of capitalising on several good chances.

Conte s side came closest to snatching a winner, with Scott McTominay s long-range shot pushed away by Michele Di Gregorio in the first half before Romelu Lukaku failed to pounce on the rebound.

The former Inter, Chelsea and Tottenham head coach acknowledged a hard-fought point, though still saw room for improvement at Allianz Stadium.

I realise the difficulty of getting a draw away to Juventus, a team that was 18 points away from Napoli last season, Conte told DAZN.

Euro 2020 final: UEFA confirm England v Italy to go ahead despite fans jumping perimeter barriers

UEFA have released a statement confirming that the Euro 2020 final between England and Italy is set to go ahead despite disruption caused by fans jumping perimeter barriers in the build-up to kick-off.

Videos of supporters appearing to break through perimeters set up by stewards at Wembley Stadium have been widely shared across social media prior to Sunday s game.

However, UEFA insist that no fan has managed to enter the stadium without a ticket and so the game should take place as scheduled.

UEFA s statement read: Fans have been jumping over barriers but there has been no access to the stadium. No concern that any protocol will come into place in which the stadium will be shut down.

There is no concern this final will not go ahead.

FA commissions independent review into ´disgraceful scenes´ at Euro 2020 final

The Football Association has commissioned an independent review into the disgraceful scenes that marred England s Euro 2020 final defeat to Italy at Wembley.

England suffered a 3-2 penalty shoot-out loss on home soil to Italy on July 11 following a 1-1 draw after extra time in their first major tournament final in 55 years.

The showpiece match was overshadowed by a security breach that saw a number of ticketless supporters enter the stadium and clash with fellow fans and stewards.

UEFA last week launched its own investigation and hit the FA with four charges relating to fan disorder, including the throwing of objects and the lighting of fireworks.

The unsavoury scenes prompted Julian Knight MP, the chair of the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Committee …

Edin Dzeko scored a brace as Manchester City defeated Norwich 4-3 at Carrow Road

Yesterday’s Premier League games produced an amazing 35 goals.

The game of the day was at the Emirates Stadium, where Arsenal defeated Newcastle 7-3 in Saturday’s late kick-off.

Theo Walcott opened the scoring with a finish right out of the Thierry Henry book of finishing.

Newcastle got a deserved equaliser just before half-time, Demba Ba’s free-kick deflecting off Jack Wilshere and wrong-footing Wojciech Szczesny in the Arsenal goal.

Midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain fired the Gunners into the lead early in the second half. Sylvain Marveaux then cancelled out Arsenal’s lead with a close-range finish.

Lukas Podolski gave the Gunners the lead, only fo…

Patrick Mahomes Odds and Props for Week 14: Turnover Prone

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs (8-4) are fresh off of the wrong end of an upset in front of the nation’s and Taylor Swift’s eyes, dropping to the once-upon-a-time 2-5 Green Bay Packers. Mahomes managed to complete just 21 of 33 passes (63.6%) for a measly 210 yards, managing only one touchdown to match his interception.

NFL Teasers: How to Use Updated Wong Teasers in 2024

Have you ever checked out a sportsbook’s NFL betting lines and noticed something like this?

Team
Spread
Odds
Team B+9.0-125
Team A-9.0+105

You may have wondered why these lines are displayed with such odd juice discrepancies instead of a more evenly-priced option like Team B +7.5 (-110) / Team A -7.5 (-110), which you can typically find tucked within a dropdown menu. It might make sense to see prices like the above for key numbers like three and seven, but you’ll often see it on non-key numbers a few times across a slate.
